Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2025. This Policy explains how we process your data on our Coming-Soon page and in the Sabeel app in Qatar.

Scope

This Policy applies to the Coming-Soon site, the Sabeel mobile apps (iOS/Android), and the admin dashboard upon launch.

Data We Collect

  • Coming-Soon page: your phone/WhatsApp number solely to notify you about the launch.
  • In-app: phone number and SMS-OTP, order details (selected mosque and quantity/amount), order status and notifications, delivery-proof attachments (photos/date/notes), UI language, device ID or Firebase push token. We may request approximate location to show nearby mosques (optional).
  • Payments: we do not store full card PAN. Payments are processed by a Qatar-approved gateway and we receive transaction references only.
  • Support: any info you provide to our support channels to handle your request.

Legal Bases

  • Consent (e.g., launch notifications via phone/WhatsApp).
  • Contract (processing and fulfilling water purchase orders).
  • Legitimate interests (service improvement and fraud prevention).
  • Legal obligations (compliance with applicable Qatari requirements).

Uses of Data

  • Sending launch notices, managing registration and OTP verification.
  • Processing orders, payments, and issuing receipts.
  • Managing photo proof of delivery and status notifications.
  • Responding to support, improving performance and quality.

Sharing

We share data only with essential service providers: payment gateway, SMS/OTP provider, push notification service (e.g., Firebase), hosting and analytics. We do not sell your data.

International Transfers

Data may be processed on servers outside Qatar. We will implement appropriate safeguards.

Retention

  • Coming-Soon numbers: until launch or until you withdraw consent.
  • Order records: as needed for service, accounting, and legal purposes.
  • Delivery photos: retained as needed to evidence fulfillment, then minimized/removed.

Your Rights

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures; no method is 100% secure.

Children

The service targets adults.
